This Flight Replicas Me 262A Special Edition add-on for FSX and P3D features possibly the most authentic aerodynamics ever created for this early WWII jet fighter. Among the features are luminescent gauge dials for night flying, Revi16B gunsight, accurate landing gear sequence, animated pilot, correctly animated exhaust cones and working gun system. Fancy restoring a Me-262, this one is for sale for just over a half a million dollars. The first successful flight of a jet Me-262 occurred on the 18th of July, 1942. It is unique in the fact that this aircraft has so many original ME-262 parts while other replica ME-262 are new built and do not have any original parts.

The Me 262 Project is a company formed to build flyable reproductions of the Messerschmitt Me 262, the world's first operational jet fighter. The project was started by the Texas Airplane Factory and administered by Classic Fighter Industries. It is based at Paine Field in Everett, Washington, United States, near Seattle. The project team of designers, engineers, and technicians completed the flight test program in 2012 [1] and delivery of the first of five jets.[2]
The aircraft are powered by General Electric CJ610turbojet engines, concealed inside detailed reproductions of the original Junkers Jumo 004B engines and nacelles.[3]
